Joe Stafford: Jeff, any truth that if Haslett wins 6 games he is the coach next year? Heck if he wins 6 games after this mess he got he should be coach of the year!
Jeff Gordon: Six wins? Yeah, that would probably do it.
BobJMc13: Jeff
When I remember, I like reading this live.
Not a great win, but sure was a fun win. Special teams and defense (2 out of 3 ain't bad) did a nice job.
But, my big complaint is Marc Bulger not being able to throw an effective long ball, and his tendency to throw the short passes to the back hip of the intended receivers. The long pass not being part of the game has to make the opponent's defense job a little easier. I wonder if he has simply lost it. Also, I like Carriker, but I just don't think he is big enough for the big body needed as the nose tackle.
Jeff Gordon: Bulger had a hand injury which limited him late in that game, but there isn't much excuse for the short passing inaccuracy.
Joe Stafford: Jeff, is Torry Holt starting to accept Donnie Avery yet and starting to help him along? What is up with Drew Bennett? Is he ever going to contribute to this team?
Jeff Gordon: Bennett? I'll believe it when I see it. Holt has to like Avery and I'm sure the rapport is building. Avery is a good learner.
Petey123: How many Cowboys fans do you expect at the dome Sunday?
Jeff Gordon: 10,000 to 15,000
Lawarence Marmie: It was nice to see the Bears losing in heartbreaking fashion yesterday. God, I hate the lovie smith. Every time I see him, I remember him standing with that utter look of cluelessness blanketed across his face as the Patriots marched easily downfield against his prevent defense in the Superbowl to kick that winning field goal. God, I hate that lovie smith.
Jeff Gordon: Dude, you've got to let that go.
