For Mizzou to adapt to playing top 5 teams, especially in the Big 12 South, would it not make sense for Mizzou to have a tougher non-conference schedule, against maybe a Florida or Alabama?

Jeff Gordon: No -- getting ready for OU and Texas is more about recruiting that playing tough teams. Mizzou got handled by OSU, then played even worsein the first half against Texas. The experience was no good for them.
Playing in the tough Big 12 gets you ready for the league title game and the big bowls. The conference is tough enough. Adding more tough games wouldn't necessarily help.

adam: can the tigers still get to the bcs game if they win all of their rest of their games and beat texas in the big 12 championship game?
Jeff Gordon: Maybe, but a lot of bad stuff has to happen to the Ohio States and USCs out there.
James: And.....what a no look pass to "Walt"... everyone still needs to remember that Oshie sees everything on the ice...I watch everygame on CenterIce (because I am out of town) but these announcers don't seem to see his strength, kind of like Bernie said "Oshie Hype not all its cracked up to be" whats your take?
Jeff Gordon: Oshie is strong, in addition to being speedy with good vision and skills. He likes to hit. Murray compared him to Adam Deadmarsh, but I think he is more creative.
adam: will the blues make a big trade when they are ready to make a playoff run??
Jeff Gordon: Maybe, but I see them staying the course with kids as much as possible.
will: Can you please comment on how before the game was played everybody had the cowboys winning just fine with out Romo, and after the game it was if the rams didnt play it was just about how the cowboys lost and are not good. CAN SOMEBODY GIVE THE RAMS A LITTLE CREDIT ON NATIONAL TV
Jeff Gordon: Well, the Rams did lose 17 of the previous 21. And the Cowboys ARE America's Team so you have to give them that.
