Lawarence Marmie: Could any relevent football mind the Rams bring in as GM or President possibly consider retaining Haslett or his lapdog Venturi?
Jeff Gordon: IF the Rams get a fresh start with the front office -- still a big if with Chip, who still must decide the course of this franchise -- then retaining the staff would be unlikely.

Tim: What would it take to aquire BJ Ryan?
Jeff Gordon: The Rams have extra OFs and extra young 3Bs. Why not try to go there?

eddie c: This team (rams) is not worth watching. They have become so predictable, that you could probably look at the remaining games this year and next and go down the list and check off the W's and L's right now. Here's to rooting for a 2 and 14 record. Maybe they'll get the 2nd pick, again, if Cincinnati get hot. Looking for Detroit to pick up. Would be nice for rams to pick first. Don't agree that a LT would be best 1st round pick. Need money player on offense, QB only thing that makes sense, don't care how much money they gave bulger-do you want to win or what? Could always trade bulger in future to another 2 and 14 team.
Jeff Gordon: Trading Bulger and that contract? Not going to happen, at least not for a few years. That does impact the draft.

Dan: Gordo,

Do you think the Orioles could bite on a deal for Brian Roberts for Ryan Ludwick straight up? It would be nice to have that kind of speed at the top of the lineup.
Jeff Gordon: Again, Mozeliak has made it clear that Kennedy is here, barring a dramatic change in market. So forget that. And, again, why trade your only other power RH batter for the long term? Glaus leaves after next season, probably, and then what?

Lawarence Marmie: Gordo,

Don't you think it would be better for the Yankees to bring in Lowe and Burnett- with possibly Pettite taking less money to come back- rather than spending all that cash on CC Sabathia? I mean, the guy doesn't even want to pitch on the East Coast and no one knows how he can handle playing in a city that actually puts pressure on their atheletes to win? I mean come on- Wisconsion and Ohio don't take time using the New York minute.
Jeff Gordon: Good point -- and $100 million goes further in Milwaukee than $140 million in NYC. Wouldn't it be cool if he decided to stay in Wisconsin?
