Gabriel to Snow: Todd Stuessie is long in the tooth, but a very versatile & effective blocker when pressed into duty. I am sure they hope to have sufficient depth in younger players that can develop, but do they have any intetest in re-signing Todd if they are short handed?
P.S. Glad to see Goldberg on board, I was waiting for him to be locked up. As we've seen, versatile lineman are a necessity not a luxury.
Jim Thomas: The Rams still think Steussie can play. He might be one of those May, June, July signings, depending on what happens in the rest of free agency and the draft.

Russell: Hi Jim,
You do a terrific job reporting on the Rams. I'm coming up on my 40th year of being a Rams fan.
If you are able to pass along my suggestion to the Front Office/Coach Linehan/Stan Kroneke or Chip Rosenbloom, I would appreciate it!
I would really like to see the Rams honor Georgia by coming out in the first home game in the "old Blue and White" uniforms.
Your thoughts are always welcomed.
Jim Thomas: Whatever the uniform is, look for the word "Georgia" somewhere on it.

DBQIA: With the free agent acquisition of a guard, if Brandon Albert were available at the beginning of round 2 would the Rams go after him.

Also, any possibility that Franklin will go higher in the draft than Rucker?

Thanks
Jim Thomas: Don't know about Albert at the top of Round 2, particularly with needs elsehwere. I think there's a very real possibility that Franklin has surpassed Rucker. Rucker has yet to run because of a hamstring injury and there are blocking issues as well. Meanwhile, Franklin by all accounts has had two very good workouts at the Combine and Mizzou's March 6 pro day.

El Centro Ram Fan: Jim, thanks for the forum. I always enjoy it. When/how do you think the Rams will address their hole at linebacker? Is Draft just penciled in as the starter?

P.S., I wish the Rams had had the sense to draft Ryan Khalil last year when he fell in their laps. Even though I liked Leonard, I think Khalil would've helped us more and we would've have been better set at center.
Jim Thomas: It's Draft or Culberson at SLB minus Chillar. You're not the first one to mention Khali. But correct me if I'm wrong, his rookie season was hardly a sensation either, was it?

Chad: JT

What about taking WR James Hardy out of Indiana in the early 2nd round if he is still available.

Thanks
Jim Thomas: Well, he certainly has the size _ what is he, like 6'6?. And I think he ran about a 4.47 at the Combine. Don't know about his run after the catch.
