Brian: Hi Jim,
Any idea on why did the Rams choose not to go after Justin Hartwig? The price seemed to be right.
Jim Thomas: Price was indeed modest, but I think there were some concerns about his injuries and his attitude.

Clyde: Do you think those ?'s/comments are really from Fakir?
Jim Thomas: What do you think?

Kiefer: I saw that Herm Edwards was saying that he thought the Rams were tampering with Josh Brown. Do you think this is true?
Jim Thomas: If we can believe Josh Brown, he said he had no knowledge of any Rams interest until Friday morning.

Dan: Hi Jim

Do you know if teams still use the "value chart" for draft picks? In other words, what is the 2nd pick worth if they were to trade down to say the 5th of 6th pick?

Thanks
Jim Thomas: Yeah, I believe most teams use them.

El Centro Ram Fan: Hi Jim,

What is the Rams view of Bartell long-term? I thought he did well last year in emergency duty. Do they not see him as viable as a starting CB if Brown is out? Or is there concern about Hill?

Thanks
Jim Thomas: Rams like Bartell, he has progressed noticeably from his rookie season. He has a chance to be a good player in this league.
