bayoubert: JT, The play of Clifton Ryan has been one of the few bright spots. On the flip side it appears Carriker is getting fewer reps in the rotation as Wroten, Glover , and Adeyanju are all in the mix.

Has our first draft pick fallen out of favor?
Jim Thomas: Haslett has liked Carriker's play in the past two games. I'll have to check and see if his playing time has dropped appreciably the past two weeks.
TMASS: After watching the Rams for several weeks I haven't noticed the "C" patch on their uniforms, which is suppose to represent the Captain of the Football team. Is there a reason that the patch is not on the jerseys?
Jim Thomas: In team voting, nine players were so close in the vote totals that Linehan decided to name all nine captains. But the league wanted no more than five players I believe designated with the C on each team. So the Rams decided not to give any players the C if they couldn't do it for all nine.

With all of the short comings I just wanted to get your personal opinion on who you think the rams should have hired last year? Also looking forward if they did decide to get a new coach who would you like to see leading this team in 08? Just food for thought I was hoping to get Ron Rivera last year.
Jim Thomas: To tell you the truth, I was hoping for Rivera, too. I didn't know much about LInehan at all at the time of his hiring, and just liked the idea of a defensive-oriented head coach with a strong offensive coordinator to rely on. I've given next to no thought to possible replacements.
