old cowboy: So Jim, what's the deal, is everyone so PC @ Rams park they won't admit the obvious or will some talk about it off the record? I mean 0-4 to 2-0?
Jim Thomas: I think it's pretty obvious. Linehan already has lost his job. None of the players at this point anyway seem interested in piling on.
RAMS FANS: This is probably a little crazy, but if you talk to any of the players please pass this along (and I heard you say that Torry and probably others must read this) –
We hate these guys so badly (I can’t even say their name). We have not forgotten 2001 and the pain it caused all of us. We know they cheated and stole that game. They are nothing but classless, gutless cheaters. We still have not gotten our retribution, so let's get it now. Please beat these pieces of crap into the ground. Many of you weren’t around in 2001 when their cheating cost us SB 34 and did long term damage to our franchise, but let’s now make beating them to a pulp the beginning of our return!
Thanks,
All Rams Fans
Jim Thomas: Admit it, Rams Nation. Just the sight of Belichick on the sideline and Rodney Harrison bouncing around in the secondary (won't see that this Sunday though), still make your blood boil.
ramfanfromthebay: Donnie Avery is looking like he was worth being the 1st WR picked in this years draft,,,,Deshaun Jackson is starting to slow down....And JH is not scared to use him ,,,,I know he was hurt early in the season but I think our last coach was holding him back giving veterans like Dante Hall and Looker to much time this kid can flat out fly and he gets open......We finally have a WR who can catch that little hitch and get some yards......Go Rams
Jim Thomas: There is no substitute for speed.
fan since 1971: The Seahawks and Colts have thier next HC sign to take over when the time comes. So how did they get around the Rooney Rule?
Jim Thomas: That's an excellent question.
Andrew: Hey Jim, thanks for answering our questions. I have a couple I want to ask
1) Bartell looks like he's coming along each week and keeps playing better and better. What is the talk about him, do the coaches agree?
2) Do the rams have any plans in the future about wearing their throwback superbowl jerseys? I think I remember an attempt but something happened with the league saying no or something.
Oh one more thing, what's the latest on Carriker, will he give it a go against the pats?
Jim Thomas: 1.) I think coaches and front office (Devaney) are very high on Bartell right now.
2.) Rams are planning to wear throwbacks (the '99 Super Bowl championship unis) in 2008. Maybe as much as three times.
3.) I think it's doubtful on Carriker.
