Chris (Ohio): Jim:

Incognito is a stiff. Too many penalties and bad blocking. When will they put in
Greco or Scheunig in his place?
Jim Thomas: Incognito actually has played well these past two games, particularly as a run blocker.

Mark: Hey Jim

So, no penalty yards on the Patriots. Pretty amazing stat, in my opinion. Do you think we're whining when we point that out, or is it a legitmate complaint? As far as I'm concerned, home field and the ref advantage that went with it decided this game.

Mark
Jim Thomas: No, I think it's a legitimate complaint. And as I mentioned before, in a tight game like this one, field position was very critical.

Reggie from stl: Hey Jim,

We need a young quarterback with a strong arm and speed, but we have plenty of needs to fill with the draft. Why don't we sign D.J. Shockley from Alanta.I believe his contract is up after this season and with our Qb coach he could be a stud.In all fairness he was vicks back up which means no playtime and even when Vick was hurt Shaub was there and now with all the money invested in Ryan he has no chance. With a little mentorship and time with these young recievers we could have an awesome team.See if you can hit this to the coach or Billy D.Thanks
Jim Thomas: Devaney, you may recall, came to the Rams from Atlanta. I'm sure he knows all about Shockley.

BigDogCigar: Jim

How has your assessment of the overall talent of the organization changed in the last three weeks. Four weeks ago it seemed that everybody thought the team needed to blown up and started over. Now it seems we have some legitimate talent. While we certainly are not a elite team - it would seem that we do not have as far to go as previously thought.
Jim Thomas: Well, I think all along a lot of members of the St. Louis media were saying that the team couldn't be as bad as it was playing during the 0-4 start. I though all along this team had 7-9, 8-8 talent. And that was not knowing what to expect from the rookies. Right now, the rookie class looks pretty good. But we still have nine more games to make those assessments.

SpecialTeamsGuy: If you had to use seven words to describe Al Roberts' special teams peformance this season (for the most part), what would you say?
Jim Thomas: Not so good, good, good. . .and good.
