MY QUESTION IS THIS, I BELIEVE THE CARDS SHOULD BEEN MORE AGGRESSIVE IN GETTING SOME STARTING PITCHING IN THE OFF SEASON NOT EVEN COUNTING THE INJURIES THIS SPRING. DO YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BEEN MORE AGGRESSIVE OR NOT ? I THOUGHT JON LIEBER WOULD HAVE A GOOD SHORT TERM PICKUP AND ALSO KYHLE LOHSE AND I BELIEVE THE CARDS NEEDED 2 STARTERS GOING INTO THE SPRING TO HAVE A CHANCE TO COMPETE IN THEIR DIVISION.

When I heard Kyle McClellan was invited to camp I thought he would be a reliever. Not only is he not a reliever but he could leave camp with the big club!

When do you think he will make his first Cardinal start in a reg. season game?

Joe Strauss: McClellan scuffled a bit today against Florida. But his work to date has been impressive. He'll be in the Memphis rotation and could well be considered the Cardinals' "No. 7" starter. Depending on what happens this season, I believe it conceivable he could get some St. Louis exposure in September. Anything before then suggests something is seriously amiss with the big club.
