Jeremy Rutherford: It's finally here. After five days in Sweden, the Blues' regular-season opener is tomorrow. There's lot to talk about, so let's getting chatting!

Andrew Sampson: OK Jeremy, I have a hockey question and a food question. First, what was the rationale for swapping Walt and Berglund on their respective lines? Second, are you a breakfast person, and if so, what's been good eatin' for breakfast in Stockholm?
Jeremy Rutherford: Andy Murray swapped centers Keith Tkachuk and Patrik Berglund because he felt Berglund was playing too tight with Paul Kariya and Brad Boyes. Murray wanted to loosen him up and figured the best way was to put him on a line with his buddy, T.J. Oshie.

I do enjoy breakfast, but so far I haven't made it past the hotel restaurant. It's an unbelievable spread and the best part is it's free.

Timothy: JR - I hope you are enjoying your journey with the team in Sweden...

In general have you been able to determine the style of offensive game (dump and chase or carry the puck into the offensive zone) the blues will employ against detroit? Thank you and enjoy the experience...
Jeremy Rutherford:
The Blues have contended in the past that they don't like to play a dump-and-chase style, but the fact is they have done that a lot against Detroit in recent years. Perhaps it's because Detroit has the puck so much that when you finally get it, you want to get it out of your zone.

With Paul Kariya, Andy McDonald, T.J. Oshie all healthy and back on the ice, I'll be interested to see if the Blues can play a puck-possession, keep it moving down the ice type of game. They should be able to.

Rodimus Prime: How's Sweden JR?

How does the food and drink compare in Sweden to the US at the rink? I would assume they do concessions as well?

Should we expect to see Pietrangelo or Sydor dress for tomorrows game? I personally am pulling for Alex, but it's a big game and Coach likes going with players he knows he can trust.
Jeremy Rutherford: I haven't had the food at the rink, but yes there are concession stands. In Linkoping, where the Blues played an exhibition game Tuesday, the concession stands had the typical pretzels, soda, etc.

Sydor will play and be paired with Johnson. Pietrangelo will likely be in the press box.

nmihd3: JR, What type of atmosphere are you expecting for the game in Sweden? Do you think that the Swedish fans will be fired up to see an NHL game, or do they think that their league is fairly comparable?
Jeremy Rutherford: It should be lively. Darryl Sydor played with Pittsburgh last year and the Penguins opened their season in the same building. Sydor told me the atmosphere was great, as the fans feel like they're right on top of the rink. There will be tons of Red Wings fans, so it might feel like a road game for the Blues instead of a neutral site.
