John Davidson: This is Jeremy. JD is finishing up a radio interview and will join us shortly.

SteelyPhil11: John, a lot of national media outlets are predicting a dreadful season for the Blues. However, I think preseason has shown us that's there's a lot to be excited about. What are your expectations for this year's team?
Jeremy Rutherford: More goal scoring, improvement. Like any team, you're worried about injuries, and we've already had a bad one with Erik Johnson. Better goaltending, with the addition of Chris Mason. We're going to surprise people. I used to be one of those guys that predicted, and I was never right.

Rodimus Prime: Thanks so much JD for putting your passion and desire in to the Blues, it makes a big difference. I would also like to say please keep up the public events, like Hockeyfest, Fanfest, the Blues Caravan, etc. Its a great way to keep the fans in touch with the team and help build up future generations of fans (bringing the kiddos).

1. How much are the proposed Metro/Metrolink cutbacks potentially going to hurt the Blues. Many fans take teh train over from Illinois (myself included) and I hate to say this but loss of service in to Illinois could cause a good number of fans not to come out and just stay home.

2. How do you feel the Radulov/KHL Issue has effected the league and the Blues? Would the Bues be less likely to draft a Russian player now?

3. How much input do the teams have in to the National TV deals with NBC and VS? There have been a few articles saying that ESPN wants to bring the NHL back when the VS deal is up. As part of one team, how much benefit do you see in that change for the Blues and what do you think the league would get out of it?

Thanks so much JD - Let's go Blues!
Jeremy Rutherford: 2. Hasn't affected the Blues at all. If Radulov has a contract, he should be playing for Nashville. The drafting rules have changed the last few years. Everyone we draft, we investigate whether the player wants to play in the NHL. With the new league in Russia, it gives players an opportunity to make more money in their early years.

3. The growth on Vs. has been very good. Vs. wants our product. From what I understand, there's nothing doing with ESPN. Will it change in the future? Possibly. But that's up to the people at the head office of the NHL to create. We have opinions, but the league does the work.

lolOMG: JD,

Love the direction the team is moving in.

My question refers to the television broadcasts, specifically, why are so many more home games scheduled to be presented in HD than away games? It looks like over 20 home games will be in HD (which is great) but only a half dozen or so away games. As a season ticket holder, i'd prefer if the games I can't attend were in HD instead of the ones that the fans should be at supporting the team.
Jeremy Rutherford: There are going to be more and more HD games. That's a mandate from Dave Checketts. It's beneficial to the fans.

Adam: Hey JD,
I have tickets for Friday and was wondering what kind of pregame festivities will be going on.

(I can't for for the season to start!)
Jeremy Rutherford: The pep rally is from 5-7 next to the garage. There will be some other suprises.
