Tom Brady: I think the fans in St. Louis need to support this team. I think they will be good in a couple of years, maybe not this year. They have a good coach and on top of that he is defensive minded. That maybe the change the Rams needed. Do you think that was good the Rams went out and got this coach who is defensive minded? Do you think the Rams will be like the Giants in a couple of years? Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, I better get going have to lead the Patriots to another win.
Jeff Gordon: This was a step in the right direction, for sure. Spangnuolo keeps looking for was to upgrade the team, such as with the addition of DT of LaJuan Ramsey. That guy looks like a keeper.
rick k: Gordo: What is up with the complete lack of pass coverage over the middle--all day? Isn't this what coaches are for?
Jeff Gordon: The Rams did make some adjustments to keep Cooley under control. In the end, the Rams kept Washington from scoring a TD on its home field, so it was a good defensive game.
rick k: Gordo: I did not watch the game live. Can't Bulger call an audible when there are 8 men in the box--at least occasionally?
Jeff Gordon: There are adjustments, of course, but this offense will invite teams to load up the box. There just aren't a lot of deep throws in this scheme.
steve in Kentucky: Very winnable game today and the Rams did what bad teams do.....found a way to lose (thanks Donnie).....
At least they scored this week......
baby steps, right?
Jeff Gordon: Yeah, baby steps. At least Donnie Avery's fumble was a big league fumble -- spit up high into the air. When he loses the ball, he really loses it.
david: Bulger should be benched! That was a terrible performance by Bulger and the offense.
Jeff Gordon: Considering the lack of pass protection, that was not a bad effort by Marc. Had Donnie hung onto the ball, the Rams likely win. Given the beating Marc took while throwing the ball, he did well not to turn the ball over.
