Joe Stafford: Jeff, I like your Idea of hiring Dick Vermeil to run the Rams. Do you think it could happen, or is this wishful thinking? Also if not Vermeil, any other Football people you know of? This team needs blown up from John Shaw all the way down to the waterboy!
Jeff Gordon: Vermeil has said he is not interested, so we'll take him for his word . . . for now. Jim Fassel is out there. Ron Wolf could be a president/football operations candidate.

Joe Stafford: Jeff, am I the only one that clearly see's that Linehan has lost this team? Look at Torry Holt as a prime example. You never heard or seen him do anything out of line until Linehan got there. Now he blows up at the so called coach last year, and calls out the O-Line this year. The Rams might as well trade him, because isn't he running out of a contract soon and he isn't going to want to stay around for a long rebuilding process.
Jeff Gordon: A lot will have to happen to keep Holt happily on board. But trading guys off a sinking ship isn't a great idea. You don't get a great return and tanking the season hurts a franchise more than it helps.

midnighter67: This is, without a doubt (and not an exaggeration), the worst professional football team I have ever seen. The organization is arguably the worst in professional sports. I don't want to hear any more that the players have quit. The are highly paid professionals and if you can't give 100% based on that you aren't worthy either. Why wait, start making the changes NOW. It can't possibly get any worse.
Jeff Gordon: This team has lost 16 of 19 games. There is no reason to show more patience.

mullaniac: JG, I can see the Rams D needs lots of help. Your last line of Defense has to be someone who can tackle. Why isn't Todd Johnson playing?

Rams Jersey
Jeff Gordon: Good question. He had a fine preseason. Chavous made a few big hits, but he did more talking than tackling in this game. And Atogwe isn't headed to the Pro Bowl after all.

Ramschic: Jeff - I didn't think anything could top last year for being a miserable, disappointing season. This one has done it. Will our defense ever stop someone? Why is Tye Hill in the NFL and not scanning a check-out at Wal-Mart?
Jeff Gordon: Hill has lost his confidence, which is not good. What do you do with him now?
