jerry Cox: How are Bruce and Holt doing this year? I thought Holt did not play well last yeasr and was not sad to see him go. But One score in two games is not good. We need Holt or someone like him on all downs but especially on 3rd down.

Jeff Gordon: The Rams could use a receiver like Torry Holt in his prime, yes. With Robinson getting hurt, this team is woeful at WR.

johndeere: i look at the sats of the last two games of the rams,offence and defence,ect..it dont look that bad,but then you look at points score,and wow,not good at all....whats your take on that.....ty
Jeff Gordon: They don't play good football. At critical game points, they make mistakes and not plays. They find ways to fail. That is what bad teams do.

Ozy Rams Fan: Hi Gordo,

What a load of rubbish the Rams are, we are much worse of a team then the last few years even. This team will be lucky if it doesnt' go 0-16, pray the lions have a bad day. The offence if not of a NFL level.

In my opinion, the management of this team applied to much team stripper, getting rid of just to many players to be competitive now. They have left such a bare bones team, the recieving core is a joke. There is just nothing left to support about this team. Hey Spags if you get rid of all the players, who do they fans support ?

The last few bad years have been difficult to watch, but it is worse now. There is just nothing to be encouraged about this team. The management has left the fans zero to support. This is not a improving situation, there is no moral victory, when you play the way this team does.

What do you think Gordo ? to much team stripper applied ?

PS: Josh Brown r you gonna make a kick this year, wish you kicked for the seagulls like you do for us.

Jeff Gordon: When a team wins five games in two years, it's hard to argue that they took too mich "talent" off the team. Change will continue from week to week. Expect more departures.

BakoCAramFan: Observations:

1) That first half couldn't have gone worse for the Rams--TWO turnovers in the red zone, three penalties killing great offensive and defensive plays, three injuries including the starting quarterback, best wide receiver and starting safety--yet they are only down nine points;

2) Kyle Boller may not have the arm, but the most effective pass the Rams have right now is the two step slant, and considering the offensive line problems shortening up the time the quarterback holds the ball without running is a GOOD IDEA;

3) Unlike the last few Rams teams, this group DOES NOT QUIT;

4) As long as Adam Goldberg is good enough to be a Rams lineman, the Rams will have a horrible offensive line;

5) As long as Stephen Jackson falls sideways or is forced out of bounds more often than he falls FORWARD, the Rams are not going to have an effective running game;

6) Kyle Bollar more and more will earn the respect of his team, and as long as SJ can be even marginally effective, the Rams offense will continue to improve with him at QB;

7) Does anyone remember a team that more often blows itself up with bad situational penalties?
Jeff Gordon: I agree with most of that, but Jackson ran for 117 yards behind the line that you criticized. That means he had a fabulous game under tough circumstances.

Josh: Gordo,

I know it was one game, but can we finally get Bulger out of there for Boller. He led two scoring drives in less than 1 quarter. Bulger had 1 in 9 quarters. Honestly, it seemed like the offense got rejuvenated once Boller got it. The running game opened up and the blocking seemed like it improved. The Bulger reign is over. Boller had the same exact situation as Bulger (minus our best WR too) and got the Rams into the endzone twice. The Bulger apologists have nothing left.
Jeff Gordon: Boller's 75.2 passer rating won't cut it. He led a couple of TD drives, which is notable. The rest of his possessions were a struggle, to say the least.
