Mike: Braylon Edwards is awesome! Their O-line looks really good, Winslow is a top TE, and there relative no-name QB looks good, too. We have a bad (albeit severely depleted) o-line, 2nd and 3rd round TEs that don't even see the field, and a $65 million QB that routinely plays below average. Maybe the Rams should find out who their talent evaluator is and offer him more money. At least Bennett had a decent game.
Jeff Gordon: The Browns turnaround this season reminds you how quickly things can change. The NFL is not for long - that is what Rams fans have to hope for. Cleveland is a real good story this season.
J.T.: Gordo,
Anytime the Rams throw incomplete on 1st down, on 2nd and 10 it is an automatic run that Linehan calls. If I can pick up on that, surely NFL defense coordinators can pick up on it...
Jeff Gordon: Part of that predictability is his safety-first mentality and part of that is a realistic assessment of his offensive line. He was trying to cut down the number of times the Browns came after Bulger/Frerotte with all-out pressure.
Mike: Anyone who still had doubts the Rams could go 0 and 16 should have no doubts now. The Rams fraudulent defense has been exposed and the offense couldn't capitalize against the worst defense in the league. Rock bottom.
Jeff Gordon: With a healthy Jackson, the Rams can win a game or two. His impact was clear during the first quarter. If the Rams can get Steussie back and locate another guard, they can avoid making history at 0-16.
Chetley: Tye Hill is looking like another in a long list of first round busts for the Rams. Even most bad teams have one or two good players. Is there anyone in this organization that can tell a good player from a bad one?
Jeff Gordon: I hardly consider Hill a bust. Anderson really got it going in this game because he seldom got pressured. The Rams needed to load up on Edwards, but too often Brown was one his own. And Brown is a solid CB too.
Dave: For the love of everything that is right about the world and sports.........can we PLEASE end this Alex Barron experiment?
Jeff Gordon: It's starting to look like our guy will never get to a Pro Bowl. Hence the early talk that the Rams need to use their high first-round pick on a dominant offensive tackle.
