Jeff Gordon: You, Trent Green didn't exactly go out there and seize the job. So flip a coin on what Haslett should do.
Tackleberry: Do you think that Devaney will really examine who the "plus" players are on the Rams defense and actually turn the roster over this off-season? It felt like they "stuck" with too many mediocre players this past off-season and to make it worse didn't go out and get any back-ups for these players. I'm not sure why the linebacking corps is always protected, but they are yet again proving to be marginal at best. Time to move Spoon outside where he belongs and get some fresh faces inside.
Jeff Gordon: Linebacker is just one of the many area that needs an upgrade. Unfortunately, you can't replace everybody. There is only so much you can accomplish in the draft and through free agency. Some of these guys, especially on the D-line, will just have to get better.
wiramfan1: Thats it i finally threw my remote at the TV!!! Gutless, out coached out played sorry excuse for men!!! The whole bunch of them!!! I ask you all how can a team be sooo Bad!!! Blow the whole thing up. This group stinks from the topp down!!
Jeff Gordon: Can't argue that -- this might have been the worst single performance in franchise history -- but the Rams can't get 50 new players for next year. It will be fun to watch Haslett work this bunch the last seven weeks.
Bruce: OK, 30-0 with 3 minutes left in the 1st half. Defense is bad, offense is worse. Who should the head coach be next year, please don't say Haslett! This team needs new blood from President, GM, Coach, and players on down.
Jeff Gordon: Haslett stock is trading down, for sure. He still has time to win some games, but how can he get this group back after today's implosion?
steve: Haslett has to win SIX games to get the job permanently?
At this rate, he'll be lucky if his team scores six POINTS the rest of the year.
Sorry excuse for a professional football team.
Jeff Gordon: Agreed.
