smackuprams: i was wondering,,when i play football back in the 60's when we got blown out of a game in high school.the students stood by us....but we felt real bad anyhow..so the question do you know if the rams feel real bad,a re ther pride hurt???
Jeff Gordon: Sure, their pride is hurt. But for a lot of reasons, this group doesn't that hurt into anger and aggressive play. They just sit back and let bad things happen.

fcoprado: Gordo, what is your opinion on Devaney as GM.
Jeff Gordon: He did OK with first draft and he's rounded up some decent fill-ins off the street. But now the real fun starts with so many high-priced veterans on the chopping block and so many needs to fill.

We suck: 13:05 of the first quarter - game over.
Jeff Gordon: Indeed.

midnighter67: Wow, is pass interference really legal on a fake punt? That just doesn't seem right.
Jeff Gordon: Referee Terry McAuley: "It's rule reference 8-2-5, note 5 and I'll read it: 'Whenever a team presents an apparent punting formation, defensive pass interference is not to be called for action on the end man on the line of scrimmage.'"

So there you go. The refs didn't not feel the tackle attempt qualified as defensive holding, either.

Chris M - Columbus, Ohio: Hey Gordo:

I went to the Ohio State / Michigan game yesterday. The Rams just like Michigan have fallan so hard there is very little hope. Michigan USED to have top talent from top to bottom just like the Rams. Now they are a shell of what they used to be. I couldn't believe how bad the Wolverines were yesterday...and I can't believe how bad the Rams are. The Rams don't even come close to competing with their opponents. Let's be honest...The rams need an owner who is local and involved daily for this to turn around.

Currently it's a pathetic orginazition with no accountability.

Chris
Jeff Gordon: An owner with local interests is preferable, but he doesn't have to have daily involvement if he has a strong team president running a strong operation.
