Veteran New York theater critic Peter Filichia will present his one-man program, "One Many, Many Cards, Many More Memories," at a special event presented by Stages St. Louis.
A retrospective of a career that goes back some 50 years, the humorous, anecdotal show looks back at productions Filichia has seen and theater celebrities he's known. Stages will present it on Saturday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at the Robert G. Reim Theatre at the Kirkwood Community Center, 111 South Geyer Road.
Theater critic for the Newark Star-Ledger, Filichia also writes a column for TheatreMania.com. He hosts the Theatre World Awards and has served on the nominating committes for the Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Awards. His new book, "Broadway Musicals: The Biggest Hit and the Biggest Flop of the Season - 1959 to 2009," comes out in September.
For tickets, $10, or more information about the program, visit the Stages website or call the box office at 314-821-2407.
