Chris Anthony

The director and designers of the Black Rep's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will share their ideas and answer questions at a talk-back at the Grandel Theatre at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16. It's open everyone, free of charge.

Director Chris Anthony sets this "Midsummer" in the disco era of the 1970s, inspiring the set, costumes and music in unexpected ways. Anthony will be on hand for the talk-back, along with set designer Dunsi Dai, costume designer Sarita Fellows, lighting designer Richard H. Grant III, sound designer Robin Weatherall and production coordinator Brian Purlee.

"Midsummer" will play at the Grandel, 3610 Grandel Square. Preview performances are Feb. 15 and 16; the Shakespeare comedy opens on Feb. 17 and runs through March 4. For more information, visit the website or call 314-534-3810.
