St. Louis' indie booksellers have compiled a best-seller list for 2011, led by "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.
This list counts in-store sales, not event sales (although Stockett did come to town last year before the release of the movie based on her mega-selling novel).
Here's what St. Louis booksellers say were the year's top sellers in the country's 8th most literate city:
For adults

For Children/Young Adults
