The free Hip Hops beer app that the P-D launched this year is now more robust than ever, thanks to a brand-new batch of reviews and other updates added this week.
The interactive, web-based app now includes my reviews of almost 300 beers from 95 different breweries. You can also find beer lists, tips and contact information for more than 60 local bars, restaurants and bottle shops.
The app's other features include a glossary of beer styles and feeds of my latest blog posts and tweets.
To get the Hip Hops app, point your smartphone's browser to stltoday.com/beerapp. Follow the prompts to save it to your homescreen (iPhone and iPad users, click the icon at the bottom of the Internet browser that looks like an arrow inside a box, then choose "Add to Home Screen.").
Another option for on-the-go beer explorers is our new St. Louis Brewpub Guide on Foursquare. Follow that link for maps, tips, photos and more information for 19 places that brew fresh suds in and around St. Louis.
