The Wine and Cheese Place (7435 Forsyth Boulevard) in Clayton is hosting several St. Louis Craft Beer Week events, and Hip Hops readers have a chance to win a pair of tickets to each one. 

The events:

Goose Island Beer & Cheese Pairings, 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, July 30. Goose Island's head of education, Suzanne Wolcott, will pour vintage ales, including Bramble Rye Bourbon County, along with matching cheeses. A $30 value. 

St. Louis Beers vs. America, 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2. This blind tasting will pit St. Louis-brewed India pale ales and porters against those styles brewed by other American craft breweries. A $40 value.

Wine vs. Beer, 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3. Four wines, four local beers, four small plates of artisan foods. Which beverage proves the better pairing partner? You be the judge. A $50 value.

For a chance to win a pair of tickets, send an email by 5 p.m. Thursday to with the name of the event you'd like to attend in the subject line. In the body of your message, finish this sentence: "I want tickets to this event because..."

You must be at least 21 to enter.
