2nd Shift Brewing Co. is hosting a Saturday School next month at its New Haven brewery (1401 Olive Road), where students will be able to learn about the brewing process hands-on and help brew a 2nd Shift beer.
The Dec. 10 event may become a semi-regular feature at 2nd Shift, depending on demand. The inaugural session will be limited to 10 people.
Saturday School costs $250, and here's what students will receive: Lunch and dinner and drinks on Dec. 10, an overnight stay at the on-site Cedar Creek Conference Center, breakfast the next morning, and, when it's ready, two 750-ml bottles of the beer they helped brew.
People interested in signing up can call 573-237-3421 or email craig@2ndshiftbrewing.com.
