You should always make your Valentine's Day reservations early, but you probably only have a week or so left to get in on the Sweetheart's Dinner at Thornhill, the restored home of second Missouri governor Frederic Bates in Faust Park in Chesterfield.

Tickets for the dinner -- which is actually Sat., Feb. 11, three days before Valentine's Day -- are $65 and include a four-course dinner from servers in period costumes. Couples will be seated at candlelit tables for four. Call 314-615-8328 for more information or reservations.
