"If they give it to me tomorrow, I'll be open in a couple of weeks," said Shula's 347 Grill general manager Tim Cavanaugh. "It" is an occupancy permit from the City of St. Louis.
Shula's had originally hoped to open in December. Staff was eventually trained in January, but it's been about a month since that training took place, so Cavanaugh expects more dry runs before the restaurant can open. He still hopes that will happen in early March.
Shula's is at the base of the new Roberts Tower at 411 North 8th Street downtown. Expected hours are 11 a.m. until 10 or 10:30 p.m. seven days a week.
