Home nightclub at Ameristar Casino closed so suddenly nearly two weeks ago the employees barely had a chance to say their goodbyes.

Lure nightclub downtown will be invaded by the former Home nightclub staff, family, friends and clients at 9 p.m. Friday during an event dubbed Home Invasion.

Expected to attend are bosses Joel Kulander, Brian Klimaski and Julie Wheat and hosts/promoters Arty J, Scott Dyer, Asia, Ben Strake, Jojo Bokaro, Q, Darryl Vaughn, Keri Ransom, Bobby Douhtit, Anthony Moore and Stan Loung.

Home was closed after it continually failed to turn a profit, according to a statement from Ameristar Casino.
