Reis Kloeckener, a 20-year-old south St. Louis County man who advanced to the Hollywood rounds of "American Idol" on last week's show, was eliminated Wednesday night during group rounds.

Kloeckener's story was told during the televised St. Louis audition show recently. He spoke of being bullied while in high school, and finding solace in the school choir.

An interview with Kloeckener last week, during which he wasn't able to discuss his fate on the show, appeared in the Post-Dispatch Sunday.
