First the Super Bowl and now a concert tour that finally includes St. Louis.
The Madonna 2012 World Tour will play St. Louis Nov. 1 at Scottrade Center.
This is a first time a major Madonna tour has played St. Louis; her first big tour was 1985's "The Virgin Tour."
Her past tours, often among the biggest concerts of the year, have gotten as close to St. Louis as Chicago.
An Oct. 30 Kansas City date at the Sprint Center is also on the itinerary for the new tour.
Ticket prices for the Scottrade Center show are forthcoming, and will be available at ticketmaster.com, livenation.com, 1-800-745-3000 and at the Scottrade Center box office, beginning at 10 a.m. March 5.
VIP packages will be available through vipnation.com.
"We're thrilled to join fans throughout the region in welcoming Madonna for what will be her first major concert appearance ever in St. Louis," said John Urban, Scottrade Center's executive vice president of events. "There's nothing quite like the energy, spectacle and star-power of experiencing Madonna live onstage."
The tour begins May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel, and will hit arenas, stadiums and outdoor venues worldwide.
The first US date is Aug. 28 in Philadelphia.
In a statement, Live Nation CEO Arthur Fogel said "Madonna's track record as a world class entertainer and touring artist speaks for itself. Her artistry, talent and creative productions get bigger and better with each tour and Madonna 2012 will be no exception. We are thrilled to have her back on the road and know her fans feel the same."
Sunday night, Madonna headlined the the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show, with special guests Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., Cee Lo Green and LMFAO. (Click here for poll on Madonna's halftime performance).
The mostly nostalgic set included her hits "Vogue," "Music," "Like a Prayer" and her new single "Gimme All Your Luvin.' "
Singer M.I.A. unexpectedly stole some of the spotlight when she made an obscene gesture and an uttered an expletive during the performance.
The incident, which took place in front of 114 million viewers, garnered an apology from both the NFL and NBC, which aired the Super Bowl.
The game, seen by 111.3 million viewers, was the most-watched program in TV history.
Madonna releases her "MDNA" album on March 26.
