Camille Grammer, who was married to "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer for 13 years before she filed for divorce in July, has joined the cast of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The series "follows six of the most affluent women in the country as they enjoy the lavish lifestyle that only Beverly Hills can provide." Also in the cast is Adrienna Maloof, who with her mother and four brothers owns an entertainment and sports empire that includes the Sacramento Kings and the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The Bravo franchise -- whose popularity baffles me -- began with "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and continued with "New York," "New Jersey," "Atlanta" and "D.C." Of the new edition, Bravo says:

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” offers a glimpse inside the world of luxurious wealth and pampered privilege, where being seen and who you know is everything. These women are in the center of it all and they have the mansions, the cars, and the diamonds to prove it.

Meanwhile, Bethenny Frankel has told US Weekly that she's quitting "The Real Housewives of New York" because "last season was painful and scary." She also has a successful Bravo spinoff, "Bethenny Getting Married."
