Time to start polishing up the "charm, style, class and charisma." Those are the qualities specified in a "Bachelor" casting call, set for this afternoon in St. Louis.
But forget about that "class" thing. Being classy, although welcome, has not proved necessary in the "Bachelor" franchise.
Both men and women are invited to an open casting call 4-8 p.m. today (June 27) at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. Applicants will meet with the show's casting producers for a possible spot in a future season.
Or, you can apply online anytime.
St. Louisan Trista Rehn was cast on the first season of "The Bachelor" and went on to become the first "Bachelorette." She now has two kids with husband Ryan Sutter, whom she met that season, so successful "Bachelor"-"Bachelorette" matches aren't unheard of.
They are rare, but people who stick around for a long run on either show often get to travel to exotic places. St. Louisan Danielle Ronco, who competed on the Juan Pablo season, got to go to South Korea and Vietnam before being eliminated.
The casting sessions will be in the sixth floor ballroom of the Four Seasons, 999 North Second Street, 63012.
The current season of "The Bachelorette" airs at 7 p.m. Mondays on ABC.
