Patrick Quinn, a German teacher at Ritenour High School, is one of three teachers competing for $100,000 in the final of "Teachers Week" on "Jeopardy." The three will play Monday and Tuesday, with the two days' totals combined to determine the winner, who will also earn a spot in the Tournament of Champions.

Quinn's competitors in the final also have Missouri or St. Louis ties. Justin Hofstetter is a language arts and social studies teacher at Alta Vista Charter Middle School in Kansas City, and Brooks Humphreys of Mercy High School in Omaha, Neb., formerly taught at MICDS here.

"Jeopardy" airs at 4:30 p.m. weekdays on KSDK (Channel 5).

Jimmy McGuire of the "Jeopardy" "Clue Crew" visited Quinn's Ritenour class on Friday (the day Quinn's winning episode aired) and demonstrated the electronic "Classroom Jeopardy" game, described as an "exciting educational tool."
