This week in TV really should be more exciting, but minus Sunday night's Academy Awards, there are no huge headlines. But consider:
‘American Experience: Clinton'
8 p.m. Monday on PBS
A four-hour, two-night biography tells the story of William Jefferson Clinton from Hope, Ark., to the White House and beyond. Concludes Tuesday.
‘The Biggest Loser'
7 p.m. Tuesday on NBC
The weight-loss competition celebrates its 200th episode by tempting this season's losers with all their favorite food. The one who comes out on top (which usually means eating the most) gets to reassemble the teams.
‘Glee'
7 p.m. Tuesday on Fox
In the last episode before "Glee" takes a two-month break, New Directions competes at Sectionals against the Warblers.
'20/20'
9 p.m. Wednesday on ABC
The news magazine tries to pump up interest in the Oscars by profiling winners and nominees. Sort of like Barbara Walters used to do before she dropped her Oscar specials.
‘Memphis'
8 p.m. Friday on PBS
A white disc jockey crosses racial lines for love - and music - in 1950s Memphis in the 2010 Tony Award-winning musical.
'Gretl: Witch Hunter'
8 p.m. Saturday on Syfy
Shannen Doherty stars as Hansel's sister, all grown up and the witch's protege.
The Academy Awards
7:30 p.m. Sunday on ABC
Billy Crystal returns as host. Red-carpet coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. on E!, 5 p.m. on the TV Guide Channel and 6:30 p.m. on ABC. By the way, both "The Amazing Race" and "Celebrity Apprentice" are new opposite the Oscars, as are "The Walking Dead" and HBO shows.
