Air Force Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson had told Twitter followers — she's @angiekjohnson — to look for her on the season premiere of NBC's "The Voice" after the Super Bowl. She was nowhere to be seen, however.

Johnson apologized, noting that auditions continue tonight (7-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6) and telling fans to stay tuned. NBC doesn't announce in advance when particular contestants will appear.

Johnson , who grew up in St. Ann, was one of the singers recruited by "Voice" producers to audition. She became a viral video sensation with her Air Force band the Sidewinders, singing Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." She now lives in Nashville and serves in the Missouri Air National Guard.

Johnson explains herself this way: "I love music, God and country! Pretty simple gal :)"

Friends of St. Louis singer Cameron Novack say he'll also appear in "Voice" auditions.
