Hey Moe Howard did it all the time. Very Happy In all seriousness it was down right dirty. I didn't see the game but I heard he was goin at it with some of the UGA plaayers all day and his helmet was gettin ripped off.

And Urban Meyer levies a half game suspension...

I can't decide what's more lame...the eye-gouging or the half-game suspension.

oh give me a break guys. this :!: happens all the time.

did any of you guys watch this game? it also happened to tebow but they didn't have it on camera. tebow came out and said it today. the whole game was cheap shots.

it's football. it's been going on for years. getting spit on, hair pulled, and groin shots.

That's one of the worst things I've ever seen done on a football field.

The SEC has to step in and level their own suspension on this one.

Are you serious? So it is ok? Spikes should be done for the year which he would be if Deion taught him how to eye gouge.

Any man who condones shoving your fingers in the eye of a defenseless person should have their own eyes gouged out. Maybe that will change your opinion, I'm sure Brandon Spikes would be more than willing to do the eye gouging. What a wuss, he loses all his man points.

If this happens all of the time, why are there not more serious eye injuries? I played college football, though not division I, and I never knew of such an incident. I believe the player should be arrested and charged. By only giving Spikes a half game suspension, Urban Meyer has gone down a great deal in the eyes of this fan.

Florida is as bad if not worse than the old hurrigangsta teams.

They have had numerous arrests,Meyer is a win at all cost coach.
