I keep looking for something new when I go to the store, but I keep getting lured into going back to my recent favorite, Racer 5.

I tried New Belgium Hoptober over the weekend. I didn't read any reviews on this beer beforehand, and my tastebuds were expecting more hops because of the name. Still ended up being a very nice fall time beer.

I just had this over the weekend as well! And you're accessment is spot on, I was expecting something w/ a bit more of a bite but it wasn't a bad beer by any means.

Have you found any Seirra Nevada Torpedo or Avery DuganA yet? If not you're missing out brother!

Not yet, I've looked for the Torpedo a couple times and no luck. I'll have to ask and look for the DuganA next time I'm up at Friar's.

Where do you normally buy your beer, or does it vary?

It varies. 90% of the time I just hit Shop n Save for Schlafly, Boulevard, and Racer 5.
If I have spare time on my way home from work I will stop by The Wine & Cheese Place in Ballwin.
If I don't feel like driving and I'm willing to pay a few extra bucks I'll hit Friar Tucks in Fenton.

Is the DuganA at Friars? Not that it matters because it seems like each location has different things since you found the Torpedo there.

Oh gods no! Smile

I follow their blog on blogger...so I can comment on their page and increase my google searchable blowback number. Smile

Wine & Cheese Place is too far for me when I have Randall's within a mile from my house. I did go there once for a free beer tasting. Very Happy
