Every one is saying we can't sign both Pujols and Holliday long term. If the payroll stays where it is I would say that's true. But who says our payroll can't go up 10-15 million or so. Cardinals management has always said that resources are there for the right player. We'll see if that statement is true now.

I highly doubt payroll will go up. That's the one area that the owners haven't budge on no matter how great the attendance.
