Boston...picked to win the East by a lot of people....currently 6-7-2 and in 11th.

Carolina...picked to be a 5th/6th seed in the East.....currently 2-9-3 and last in the East.

Detroit...picked to win the West by a lot of people....currently 7-4-3 and 11th in the West.

Anahiem....pikc to be a 4/5 seed in the West...currently 5-7-2 and 14th in the West.


Blues aren't the only on struggling.

That is true but look at Boston there best player is hurt and there second best player is now in toronto. Detroit was picked that high because every year they play the same so most didn't expect this drop off and to be honest there record is still better than ours. I love the fact where trying to stay positive and I'm right there with ya.

The only thing is we cant expect another great second half and every point the other teams get and we don't just makes it harder to make up later.

Not sure Det is the best comparison. They are without Franzen and Filppula and still 5 pts ahead of the Blues and have played pretty well their last 10. The supposed best in the West central division looks pretty weak overall at the moment compared to the other divisions. The only team with more GF than GA is Chicago.

Detroit started pretty slow but they seem to have picked it up in the past few games. I know they've lost a lot of fire power but I will never count them out.
