....how would you fix this team????

1.) Say bye bye to Winchester and Sydor and Weaver. Winchester serves no purpose on this team and although I like Weaver defensively it doesn't make up for his horrible play on the neutral and offensive zones.

2.) Say hello to Jonas Junland. He has the offense. We all know that. It looks according to his start in Peoria that the defense is there now as well. He leads the team in Goals, Assists, points and +/- as well.

3.) Keep Pie. He has proven he is "ready".

4.) I agree with something that has been said a lot tonight. Have set lines....

Kariya-Mac-Backes
Oshie-Berglund-Boyes
Crombeen-McClement-Perron
Steen-Tkachuk-Jansen

If I'm Murray first thing I do is fix the g-d d-mn lines.

I like the second grouping of lines, better (with Eller). I'd like to see Weaver in The AHL, Winchester and Boyes traded with a defenceman (Colaiacovo?)(for a bonafide scoring forward), Pietrangelo staying up, and playing more minutes, same with Eller, and Junland brought up. Let the young talent learn in The NHL. The results (even with rookie mistakes) will be BETTER than with marginal players (Weaver/Winchester), and has beens (Sydor,Kariya,Tkachuk). Not saying to get rid of Kariya and Tkachuk, but give some of their ice time to the youth. Could that be any worse than losing almost every game?

I would like to see Boyes, Winnie and a D traded for a true scorer...but I don't see it happenning right now. Boyes is ice cold which hurts his value without a doubt. I would rather wait until he heats up (he has always been streaky) and trade him while his value is high.

Is there such a thing as too much youth on a team? And none of them able to give the others the confidence they need to have a sterling performance every time out?
Aye, that's the rub!

If I'm Murray...

First thing I do is stop matching McClement's line with other team's top lines. My team is good enough that I don't need to have my lines dictated to me by the other coach.

Second thing I do is put Kariya on line 4 and have Boyes sit out a couple games in the Press Box.

Third, my defensive pairings get an overhaul.
Johnson-Weaver
Pietrangelo-Sydor
Polak-Brewer
Polak covers Brewer's (bleep) when he's playing poorly, Sydor and Pietrangelo each cover the other's weaker areas in how they play, and Weaver is a shut down on a line with the fluidic Johnson.

Just for the record, I'm the coach and don't dictate sending players up or down to Peoria. That's a management decision. Junland isn't in this lineup because it's not Murray's decision.

I think the Tony LaRussa adage, "I'd like to coach against you guys" is the proper response for 90% of the responses to this thread and the OP itself.

Everyone's an expert...
