Did you mean morals? Because he probably does have good morals, possessing Marijuana hardly means a person is without morals. And you know he's an athlete, right? Not a preacher.

As for the hall of fame....hes 24 years old... this will not affect him making it in, if he has the credentials, at all. This is barely a story, why are you guys being so judgmental?

weed is no big deal anymore people. You will see......I bet he doesn't even get suspended. If he had a medical card, I don't see how he would get in trouble. It's pretty much legal there anyway

I am shocked that in 2009 people on this board feel that someone is immoral and not a good guy because they face a misdemeanor possession charge for pot. Can we be a little less judgmental? Possessing Marijuana and I'd argue really any drug does not in and of itself make someone an immoral or bad person...Give the guy a break. This is a statutorily created crime and not something that is inherently bad.

i posted earlier in this thread... Soto from the Cubs that tested positive for THC during the WBC. if i remember the article right, there was no MLB suspension for Soto because MLB does not consider THC a PED. cocaine and amphetamines are considered PED as high powered stimulants can increase reaction times, or something to that effect.

i know there was a thread here at CT or over at Bernie's when the story broke, but i have such a terrible time trying to find anything using the forum search function... so, anybody who can outsmart the forum search engine feel free to find the thread.

Thats the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. So he smokes pot and that makes him a bad guy? Did your parents make you watch reefer madness and you actually believe it?

The guy is an idiot. If you are going to smoke, do it a private place, not while speeding.

I wonder how some of the OP's here would have reacted if he were speeding while .08 alcohol level, and with an open container.
