That was big in the '90s, not so much any more.
i dont mean to speak for the hocky, but perhaps he just meant the place of origin of the pot in question, not the strain.

If this had been an NBA player, everyone would be up in arms.
But it's OK because Lincecum plays baseball.
What an ignorant post. No one cares about the NBA players. Do you ever hear about Carmelo Anthony having way more weed on him, at an airport nonetheless.
Bottom line is outside of strong conservatives many people don't get to riled up about smoking a plant.

That has changed too. There are over 2100 medical cannabis dispensories in California alone and Washington state also allows medicinal use. There is so much great weed right here in the states that there is no reason to have to travel for it anymore.
That said all of these killer strains come from Amsterdam where the seedbanks run large farms which supply the coffeehouses and their online seed stores.

I always thought Lincecum favored Mitch Kramer from 'Dazed and Confused' who knew they'd have more in common than looks

As already pointed out, voting for the Cy ended weeks ago. As for the story, much ado about nothing.

I love the agrument that pot is no big deal. That may be the case. But, it's illegal, so you do it and get caught, you know there are concequences. A little personal responsibility in this nation would be so great. But, alas, that has died.
And, there is no question this will certainly hurt his reputation, in some circles, going forward. I think it's funny that there saying a deal has been worked out on his pot arrest now. Hey Tim, any damage to your rep is already done. Doesn't really matter a whole lot now what kind of deal you have.

It's a misdemeanor(sp?), it's hardly worse than a speeding ticket. Is jaywalking illegal, yes. Is it really a big deal, no. Who said anything about personal responsibility, Lincecum got caught & will pay the incredibly small price of a minor crime. He knew the risks he chose to take it, you make it sound like someone said he shouldn't be punished for breaking the law. However people have argued the law should be changed, but that doesn't have anything to do with personal resposibillity.
