Darvin Ruise from Florida. Looks like Henson's influence is already taking place. Great news! This kid looks like a playmaker and with offers from LSU,Tennessee and South Carolina he's got to be a playmaker. 6'2" 220 lb. athlete combining with Parham should be set at the LB position this year. Great News and welcome aboard. Keep that train rolling! 2010 and 2011 look promising with all of the talent we have. Rebuilding is never fun but with the recruits we have coming in the Missouri Tigers will be just fine.

Should get a rating on Ruise within the next couple of weeks from what Pete says over at PM. Looks like a great pickup - could be a real steal for Mizzou.

Is he headed for LB? The only film I've seen of him is at QB.

This is going to be a very good team over the next few years...

I just wonder how more people aren't up in arms about the background of our offensive coordinator. Really, it is a joke..google the guy find out for yourself. David Yost did not play football and was supposed to be a kindergarten teacher. I'm shocked he is where he is simply on work ethic.

Please make an issue of this now...before we get into the prime years of all these recruits and were still stuck with the guy that went to school to teach FINGER PAINTINGS!!!! SERIOUSLY.

Plan right now is for OLB. Other programs looked at him potentially at receiver and Georgia Tech even at QB in their system. Bottom line, this guy is an athlete. Glad he's aboard!

Let's hope he's an Overstreet and not a Moye.

Niner this is exactly my point on Pinkel....and those who want him gone. He's doing such a good job of creating recruiting inroads at places Mizzou just isn't supposed to go. Florida? Texas? ....from what I've read on PM and here, their making headway in Ohio? We're attracting the talent. It would be a crime IMO if we allowed Pinkel to leave or pushed him out the door....because its not the gold M on the side of our helmets that are attracting these kids to MU. Its Pinkel and his Lieutenants. We just (now) need to tighten up with our schemes, play-calling and 2nd half adjustments.

I can't stop thinking about 2011 and what our defensive line will look like. You'll have Aldon, Big Sheldon and Ealy rushing the passer. That should be one of the best D-Line's in the country.

I'm still disappointed at that inexusable loss to Baylor. But you can see the development.

Nice to have something positive to focus on for a change. All of the constant crying from the temps gets on my last nerve.

YOu would have thought the world had come to an end.

Know why Josh Henson is at MU?

He was recruiting coordinator at LSU, and he delivered Miles multiple top-5 classes. He learned indirectly that Miles was trying to hire Ed Orgeron, who'd been fired at Ole Miss, but was previously Pete Carroll's recruiting coordinator, to replace him.

As it turned out, Orgeron spurned Miles and went to work for Lane Kiffin.

Josh talked to his old friend Barry Odom, and Barry told him all about how we run our business. Josh quit Miles and joined us.

Any word on the rating he can recieve.

He seems to be a good talent, with a good offer sheet. 4 star prospect?

On another note, could one of you recruiting gurus fill me on when Rivals typically grades out all of the prospects in these classes? With all of our players receiving 3* or more, we would be right in line with the top 20ish classes in the country.

Yet another example of why a school's "class ranking" means little. Here's a kid - Ruise - with 20 offers, including Tennessee, LSU, Georgia Tech, and he has zero stars. Someone is missing something and I think its probably Rivals.

Yep it could be a system breakdown at RIVAL.
Rival should focus on their nameplate core business
5 and 20 pound bags of DRY Dog Food.
