How about this?
Let's just set up a coach by committee, with a different fan in charge every day?

We should go undefeated.

I nominate you BB, you have a good grip on hockey Wink

I agree. Roll four and let the kids learn. We can't do much worse for now and perhaps they just might find some chem and gel in time for the playoffs.

We appear to be playing not to lose instead of playing to learn and win.

Eller in the OT might have worked considering how rested he was Rolling Eyes

I agree. I also wish Blues' management hadn't given Murray the extension. His teams have never and WILL NEVER play all-out with confidence to win. They will NEVER play with killer instinct. They always play to "not lose", and looking over their shoulders, worried about being benched for making mistakes as rookies and 2nd year players, while veterans do the same things, and continue playing.

Murray will NOT lead The Blues to The Stanley Cup or the finals. He is not the coach to lead a team full of young, skilled players.

Nope - not me.
I KNOW I'm just a fan.

I don't understand, BB, why you and Hipcheck continuously defend AM no matter what happens on the ice. Do you not see what the rest of us see? I am not talking about the trolls that want to behead AM every time the club loses a game. I am talking about some more educated posts on this site. BTW, I agree that it's too early to push the panic button. But 20 games from now, if the club is still playing the way it is, it would be nice to see you two acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, a change might be needed.

I see BB as one of the voices of reason here. It takes all kinds to make a Blues village.

With Murray we just get to see weaver get the 2nd most minutes on d tonight....weaver is a journeyman and I know murray has a man crush on the guy, and he can fill a role on the team maybe, but do we really need to see that?

And I think this comment is very telling:

"Our power play concept, which was successful for us last year, is a basic one," Murray said. "And that's the one we have to rely on."

It's like murray is bound and tied to certain concepts and no matter what he won't change...or maybe he can't. Simple is good...if it works. It isn't working. Maybe just maybe other teams figured out stopping our pp was a key to beating us since we stink 5 on 5. Other teams adjusted to us so what does Andy think...adjust it? Nah, that's what we use,it's the one we have, let's rely on it even if it runs us into the ground. Why? Because simple is good apparantly.

And before the season started I said the extension was a bad idea without seeing how the team started and if murray's approach was wearing thin.
