The Rams start the second half of the season next Sunday. Most fans see this as just 8 more losses then comes the draft. I see this as 8 more chances for this team to find out if it has any sand. In the last 3 games Steve Jackson has steppped up and on defences. New Orleans got gashed pretty bad Sunday. The Saints allow a lot of ground yardage to a poor teams. The Rams have to make the most of any chance to win no matter how small. I'm not trying to only see the bright side here, but I can see a sliver of light in this long dark tunnel of a season. There are 8 more chances to brighten that light, maybe just a bit.

I think there are 2 more wins in there. Some of these teams that looked great beating the Rams down early don't look so great anymore.
Seattle allowed 20 points to Detroit
San Fran has just lost to Tennessee and Alex Smith is looking like the 'Same Ole Sorry A** Alex Smith'
Tennessee looks beatable
The Bears defense does not look so Bear like this year.
The Rams were early into learning their new system and the line was still gelling. They have a slim chance of pulling off another couple wins.

I think that our best chance for getting another win has to be against the Seahawks, they arent looking that great at the mo but suppose neither are we.
I think that 49ers will have to much time to recover by the end of the season from the bad patch they are currently going through and Singletary will sort them out.
But hopefully if Warner has a bad game against us, we might be able to beat them like the Seahawks did. Who knows, they just gotta keep improving little by little like they have been so far.

Love it... the Saints were the only unbeatables that I saw, but after watching Carolina play them... I think even that COULD be a decent game.
Thanks for the positive post.

The Saints are a good team, they've taken advantage of teams who make mistakes. The Rams are 13 point home dogs some folks are even predicting the Saints will hang 50+ on us. I see one glaring problem with that. This team is starting to find it's self. The fact that Steven Jackson is becoming a back that no one wants to take on is becoming pretty clear. New Orleans gives up a lot of yards in run defense. Also Breese can be rattled if pressured and pressured often. Like I said before the Rams must create chances how ever small to win games. 50 + I don't think so.

So if Rams win 3 or 4 games this year you get your nut off? I would at least like a run at the playoffs down the stretch in December, like 6-6 with at least a fantasy shot. Just think we have another 9 months to (A female canine animal, especially a dog) and disagree about Rams football until next season, lot to look forward to in Rams Nation. What a meager existence.

Well now, here's a question for you we need immediate success folks. Would you toss a non swimmer into the deep end and expect them to swim? I think you would loose a lot of friends that way. There are no life guards in the NFL. The Rams as they are right now are that swimmer. Starting in the shallow end is fact of life right now. The dog paddle is the best stroke they have. It's not fancy or fast , but you get to the far side with your head above water. Small gains and sane goals are wise.

But I would prefer to have it this way than some idiot yapping about the playoffs and how friggin great every player on the team is.. Only to suck again.
These guys never promised us a win.. Yet, they have given us one!
LOL... I'm stoked by seeing progression instead of regression!

How many winning seasons since this franchise parked their moving van under the Arch? The '99-'01 Greatest Show On Turf was legendary, but this team is out to make $$$ and when they realize you won't pay to support whatever they roll out on that Dome floor anymore they have 2 choices- improve the product or pack up the moving trucks and take it to another desperate town that wants football-any football, even if it s#cks for a generation.

Wow! I don't know how old some of you are , but I've lived through the land of no football here. Let me tell you this IT DOES S>CK A Lot!(Excuse the Caps) So you want instant winning football? Tell me oh swami's of all seeing where do get this instant success? Last time I looked this teams cupboard is got cob webs in it. What you see on the field this year is what we got. If we get 3 or 4 wins so be it. If by the football gods we win 5 to 7 that's out freaking standing! All for that. 8-8 that's is in the order of parting the Red Sea happens only once in a loooong time. So you tell the rest of us more patient folks where this instant success will come from?
