At 8-0 they might be due to get picked off by a well rested Rams team. They have to have a letdown sometime don't they?

Some things i woulda liked to have seen them them try during their Bye Week...

Move Null up to #2 QB position so he can practice with the !st unit, alongside Marc.

Have Marc, Jackson, Null & Shurmer @ all offensive game plan meetings.
Let Shurmer point out their weaKNESSES, tendencies & strengths. Shurmer sets up the game plan, & explains it to the 3 players.
On game day tell Marc, you are our Field General use the game plan that shurmer explained to you.
Now go out there Marc & you guys have fun running those plays as you feel they're needed.

By the Way Marc, feel Free to audible a different call if you see the wrong defense for the play called!

Have Fun you Guys & get a Rams win!!!

I heard the same thing with the Colts game, last year's home opener against the Giants, and the Mizzou vs. Texas game.

The only way the Rams can possibly win is if we just drown all hope whatsoever.

I am still wondering how the Rams beat the Saints for their first win two years ago.

Seriously though, even if the Rams can run SJ down their throats the Saints can answer right back quickly with a score. For the Rams to win a game like that they would need to get a few turnovers.....not the most likely scenario considering the talent level of the Saints offense.

We better have worked on our passing game a bit during the bye we can't win this one with just Jackson on offence.Hopefully Bartell is 100%

The Saints maybe over confident but they will still beat us quite easily. And I think with Brees not having his greatest game last night he'll bounce back against us a team that cant get a rush on him with poor coverage.

But we hope and pray that we can win, only way I can see it is by getting quite a few turnovers and running the ball wasting the game clock. So touching wood.............

I'm afraid the Saints are so good... they can overlook a team and still win. We would need a whole lot of things going.

Home field advantage..... that should help
Injury list advantage.... coming off bye

Still... I just dont see how.

I think the only overconfidence might be on Drew Brees's part. He has probably watched game film of the Rams defense and thinks he will probably throw 8 TDs against Ken Flay-Hole's soft coverage schemes, but the joke will be on him because he'll only throw 5.

I would give anything for a Rams win Sunday vs. the Saints. I live just north of New Orleans and I am so sick of hearing about them. Even my wife is cheering for them. I hope the Rams win just to shut everyone up, even if it's only until next week.

He did have a surprisingly (and unexpectedly) good game the last time the Rams faced the Saints (2007), but Steven Jackson will also have to play extremely well (like close to 200 yards rushing) to minimize the Saints' scoring opportunities.

If the Saints have watched game film of the Rams, it would be hard for them not to be overconfident--but most of them probably remember two years ago so they likely won't overlook the Rams this time.

Sure I can recognize sarcasm, I just chose not to react to it as such...
