If you can't roll with the ups and downs of a college football program, feel free to jump of the bandwagon you hopped on two years ago.
You won't be missed.

This was a terrible loss. I think most people are upset because all the loses but Texas were winnable games. The coaching has been worse than awful. When the Tigers don't score a second half touchdown in any Big XII game it is pretty pathetic. We have the talent but for some reason can't play a full game. Our defense made Baylor's third string quarterback look like a Heisman trophy winner. It would be way different if Mizzou did not have the talent... but there is plenty there to win and they aren't. Just my two cents...

I am not jumping ship or anything and have always been a fan and no matter how bad they are they will remain my team.
For me at least I understand the frustration, and I don't think it is directed at how the program has turned the corner, but at the coaching. We continue to make no adjustments as the game goes along and if we are close at half time we are going to lose based on coaching.
Pinkel does a great job of preparing a team and building a program, he has been great for the university. But his in game coaching is awful. I know at one point he was 0-17 when losing at half. This was a few years back and I would even be interested in seeing our record in his tenure when leading by 7 or fewer at half, it can't be good.
Again, not an attack on the program, players or Pinkel....but it is frustrating to have the players in place, be prepared for the game and to lose because of a lack of adjustments during the game.

Yes the offense can get some blame for not scoring in the second half. Seriously though the defense has not gotten better. How can we still have miscommunication in the secondary? This is week 9 for christ sake! If an offense scores 32 points the defense should be able to hold them to 31! No excuses! Maybe we need a new d-backs coach because thats where most of the holes are. The offense should not have to score over 30 points a game to win.

On two of Baylor's long passes we were being called for pass interference and yet the passes were still caught. We can't even get that right! If you're going to be called for pass interference at least don't let them catch it. Baylor radio announcers were saying all day how they were amazed at how open their receivers were...at one point the color commentator said "luckily Florence has had some easy reads today". I didn't see the game but it sounded really bad based on the Baylor radio announcers. We have all seen over the years how stubborn Pinkel is in regard to making changes, etc. When you lose three in a row at home with the talent we have, you better change things or face departure. Hopefully, this coaching staff has the brains to make the adjustments necessary to finish the season right. In my business, those who don't change die. The same may be said for football coaches.

10 rushing yards on 26 attempts, against Baylor. Come on.

I've been a Mizzou fan all of my life and always will be, which doesn't mean I have to sit back and drink the Kool aid, ignoring obvious problems.
It is a major production to make MU games for me. The last two that I have been to are the losses vs. OSU last year and Baylor this year, but I'll be back next year.
This team seems to do the same things over and over again, which eventually catches up to us.
For example, from the stands Saturday you could see Baylor overloading on side with receivers, resulting in open players ALL DAY LONG. We still could have one with offensive production in the 2nd half, but just completely went in the tank.
I never saw Pinkel call the players over to rally them, but just stand there while the assistants did all of the preaching. I understand that is how college football is done now days, but come on, he should do something to rally the troops. Maybe he did and I just missed it. Saying we need to "fix" it every Saturday after disappointing losses for the same reasons is getting old. The guy just seems out of touch with his team.

I don't mind ups and downs....its the falling into a canyon that drives me fruit.
Haven't gone anywhere yet...don't suspect I will any time soon. But it doesn't make it any less frustrating.

Mizzou has hardly fallen into a canyon. The Tigers will still, IMO, finish the season 8-4; just like I expected them to do.
I don't know why people expected so much from a team that lost so much.
