On his entry today into the hockey Hall of Fame!

Greatest Blues player of all-time and hope he one day returns to the organization in some capacity.

Congrats also to JD who joins Brett in entering the Hall today as the Foster Hewitt inductee.

Great day for the Blues franchise! Very Happy

I guess Mr. O'Neill never saw and/or heard of Mike Bossy. You know, the Bossy that scored 50 or more goals NINE CONSECUTIVE seasons.

Congrats to Brett Hull!!!!!

I will always feel regretful the way we lost him after the Keenan era. Too bad he could not be a "Blue" for a much longer time.

Before Brett came along I always thought Mike Bossy was tops but Hullie's one-timer and natural goal scoring ability made him even better than Bossy.

To think we could've had Hullie, Gretzky and Shanny for many, many years had management just not hired Keenan. Embarassed Crying or Very sad

You can argue who was better 'til the cows come home, I really couldn't care less.

However, stating Hull "advanced the effectiveness of the 'one-timer', is laughable. The effectiveness of the one-timer had long ago been established by none other than Mike Bossy.

Blues owner Dave Checketts has hinted that a statue of Hull will soon stand in front of Scottrade Center. On Monday, the club acknowledged that an announcement would come Dec. 15.

1. Gretzky was pretty much just a name by the time he came here. I was really glad he chose not to stay.

2. You can't blame the Shanny trade on Keenan. If Shanny hadn't played footsie with Mrs. Janney, the trade would not have been necessary.

Brett will always be the face of the Blues and it is a sin that he was not able to finish his career here. He surely silenced the tools who said that a team could not win a cup with Hull. Congratulations Brett!! By the way Basil how many goals did Bossy score compared to Hull.

Agreed on Shanahan. But, Gretzky had two solid years out of three with the Rangers after he left St. Louis.
