books do not cost $650 (ever heard of used books?). taxpayers pay for public school kids' books. believe me, sluh boys get a great education. it is worth every penny and every sacrifice by their parents. not all can afford the tuition and books but still manage somehow, it's their choice.

Yep, SLUH has a great system in which you can do work for the school (i.e. janitorial, secretary) and get up to half of your tuition payed for by doing that. It helps families in financial difficulties.
