There's also a cleanliness factor involved - so I would have to choose 5 Guys as well. Village Bar looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the Reagan Administration.

Five Guys. They have fresh toppings and like Steak 'n Shake; "In sight it must be right!".
I've been to the Village Bar twice. They use frozen patties and not many toppings available. The place is also filthy.

If those are my only choices, I'd go Five Guys also for the aforementioned reasons.
Village was filthy and smoky and loud and that was at a late lunch time. I was surprised my husband went the distance while waiting for our food and eating as he HATES smoke.
I think Trainwreck makes an awesome burger AND you can have your beer with it, lol!!
