Hi all. I got a question for all. I am have a halloween party and would like to build an inexpensive temporary firepit on my drive way. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this without ruining he drive way? Thanks for any help or links.

This is what I did to temporarily have a firepit while looking for a good one to buy. I just picked up an old used kettle grill, cut the legs down to about 4 inches (STURDIER) and VOILA!! It worked just fine, to the point I used it for an entire winter. The one I used was a full-sized kettle.

It sounds like a lot of work building a fire pit for one day of the year. Why don't you just buy a portable outdoor fire place.
