It's almost November! Football weather!! Is MLB still being played ? ? Does anyone West of the East Coast Care? If Bowie Kuhn were still alive he'd be freezing his a$$ of at the World Series! Just wondering

And the REASON he'd be freezing his @$$ off is because he'd refuse to wear an overcoat and hat, to give TV viewers the impression "It's not really cold here!". Of course, underneath the business suit, he was bundled like The Michelin Man.

See Baltimore-Pittsburgh World Series, 1979. Have a steaming hot drink nearby.

What if the Rockies had won the NL pennant? The WS hasn't even started yet, Game 7 is scheduled for Nov. 5, and Denver got 16 inches of snow yesterday.

Just wait until next season, when Minnesota plays in an outdoor stadium.

That thing needs to be done away with. Either that, or play it only in warm-weather cities around the world after the MLB season ends.

That way, the players competing for their countries will have four months of winter to recuperate, instead of ruining their MLB season by overextending themselves in March.

MLB sucks!!!

I saw that pathetic toss Kazmir tried to get to Morales... 5 feet away or whatever and you overthrow the guy thus allowing 2 Yankees runs which sealed the game.

It was paid off, simple as that. Played in NY too.

It's one thing to enjoy baseball's leisurely pace during a hot summer day.

It's quite another to be bundled to the nines, freezing your feet and face right off, while a batter steps out five times to adjust his batting gloves and helmet, and a manager walks to the mound to talk about postgame dining, and the pitcher intentionally walks a hitter, and a reliever jogs in from the bullpen to face one hitter, and he makes eight warmup pitches, and the manager uses 9 pitchers in a 3-2 games, and a pitcher throws to first base six times, and you wait out four-minute commercial breaks every half-inning, and.........

And, just the play before, the second baseman, covering first on a bunt, dropped a perfect throw. Then, the play AFTER Kazmir's rock, he caught another topper, and fired a laser to first, nearly taking the 2nd baseman covering into the stands.

Kazmir must have been taking pitcher's infield practice with the 2006 Detroit Tigers.

Yes, Baseball is still being played! As a huge Phillies fan, I wish we would have played the Cards instead of the Dodgers!! I think the Cards were a much better team, but things didn't quite work out that way. If I could get tickets, I would gladly sit through the cold weather to be there. If the Cards were in it, I think most people in Stl would too!
